The Boston Celtics didn’t extend a qualifying offer to guard Brad Wanamaker, thus rendering him an unrestricted free agent, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports. It’s possible for Boston to consider him in free agency.

Wanamaker, a former All-Euroleague guard, comes off his debut season in the NBA. He averaged 3.9 points, 1.9 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 9.5 minutes over 36 regular season games with the Celtics.

Prior to joining the Celtics, Wanamaker made a name for himself as an elite guard in Europe. He emerged as a EuroLeague standout with Brose Bamberg and then rose to All-EuroLeague status with David Blatt’s Darussafaka. He spent 2018-2019 with Fenerbahce Beko.
