The Dallas Mavericks waived Greek forward Kostas Antetokounmpo according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Kostas Antetokounmpo, the younger brother of Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, was under a two-way contract with the Mavericks. Dallas had signed the young Greek player in July 2018.
Antetokounmpo averaged 10.6 points and 6.2 rebounds in 25.4 minutes over 40 G-League games with the Texas Legends. He made his NBA debut on March 20 and played another game with the Mavericks three days afterward.
