The New Orleans Pelicans inked Kavell Bigby-Williams to an Exhibit 10 contract, Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports noted confirming the original report stemming from Andrew Lopez of NOLA. His deal makes it likely that he will tip off his professional career with the Pelicans’ G League affiliate, the Erie BayHawks.

The 23-year-old Brit forward/center impressed in the 2019 Summer League at Las Vegas with the Pelicans. He averaged 7.7 points and 7.8 rebounds in 16.5 minutes of action per contest.

Bigby-Williams rounded up his NCAA career with LSU putting up 7.9 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game in the 2018-19 season. Before joining the Tigers and helping them march to the Sweet 16 of the 2019 postseason tournament, he played for Oregon and Gillette College.
