The LA Clippers are closing in on the hiring of former Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue as a top assistant next to coach Doc Rivers, as reported by Marc Stein of the NY Times.
After the additions of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, the Clippers seem really invested in bringing in reinforcement in their bench.
Lue has previously worked as an assistant coach for Rivers during the 2013-2014 campaign, once again with the Clippers.
