Sacramento Kings star Buddy Hield was far from satisfied with the contract extension offer the team made to him.

The Kings proposed Hield a four-year, 90 million offer, which the 26-year-old guard characterized as insulting while talking to the media.

“It’s about something that is reasonable. Something that it’s not an insult,” Hield said. He had previously mentioned that if he doesn’t receive a better offer he will explore options with other teams.

“I’m going to look for somewhere else to go. Maybe offseason, maybe midseason.”

Sacramento has also offered Serbian guard Bogdan Bogdanovic a max extension offer. Thus far, the player isn’t in any “rush” to sign it.

Hield averaged a team-high 20.7 points, plus 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 2018-2019.
