The Atlanta Hawks announced today (19/10) that they have requested waivers on Kenny Gabriel and Mark Ogden Jr.
Gabriel signed the contract with the Hawks a day ago while Ogden did it just a few hours prior to the announcement. This move wasn’t unexpected and likely has to do with securing the players’ G League rights.
Per Atlanta Hawks:
ATLANTA -– The Atlanta Hawks have requested waivers on Kenny Gabriel and Mark Ogden Jr., it was announced today.
Gabriel signed with the Hawks on Oct. 18 and Ogden Jr. on Oct. 19.
