Luka Doncic’s latest monster performance led the Dallas Mavericks to the away win against the Houston Rockets. Additionally, he surpassed 2,000 points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists in his NBA career. Sunday’s contest was just his 88th since joining the Mavs.
Only Oscar Robertson made it faster to 2,000 points, 500 dimes and 500 boards, “The Big O” only needed 66 games, per Elias Sports. Therefore, Doncic became the second player ever to surpass 2,000 points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists before competing in his 90th NBA game.
After finishing his NBA Rookie of the Year campaign with 21.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6 assists per appearance, he is currently averaging 30,6 points, 10.1 rebounds and 9.8 assists in the 2019-20 season. His 41 points, ten dimes and six boards opposite to the Rockets added on his tremendous campaign.
