A chat between Steph Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo following Wednesday’s game between the Golden State Warriors and the Milwaukee Bucks led to much speculation about the three-time NBA champion possibly trying to recruit the “Greek Freak” for his team.

A video emerged where Curry appears to be telling Giannis “Let’s do it, come on,” which was seen by some as a tampering attempt by the Warriors star. Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes said that the Curry explained to him that he was talking about teaming up for an online video game called “PlayerUnknown’s Battleground.”

“Come see me on this game. We can team up and do some damage. Let’s do it, come on,” is what Curry told Giannis, per Haynes. Curry said he gave the reigning NBA MVP his gamer tag to join him online.

Giannis can become an unrestricted free agent following the completion of the 2020-2021 season.
