Dame Sarr will return to Duke for the second consecutive season, as confirmed by the university on their social media.
The Italian, who played for Barcelona in Europe, will not enter the NBA Draft and will play the upcoming year for Jon Scheyer’s team.
Duke had a very good season, but they were stopped in the Elite Eight phase. In a dramatic match, UCONN, the eventual finalist, defeated them with a last-second three-pointer.
Sarr played 38 games in the season, starting in 30 of them, and averaged 6.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists.
