Senegal released the list of 16 players as its preliminary roster for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament to be held in Belgrade, Serbia. TD Systems Baskonia‘s Pierria Henry is the main highlight covering the naturalized slot.

Henry, 28, a few months after receiving his passport, made this list alongside NBA players Gorgui Dieng, Tacko Fall, and Georges Niang. The remaining spots belong to Louis Adams, Mouhamed Alga N’Diaye, Brancou Badio, Cheikh Bamba Diallo, Pape Diop, Youssoupha Fall, Ibrahima Fall Faye, Makhtar Gueye, Mamadou Ndour, Maurice Ndour, Mbaye N’Diaye, and Youssou Ndoye.

Senegal will be part of the Belgrade Olympic Qualifying Tournament between June 29 and July 4. Puerto Rico and Italy are the preliminary round rivals, while host Serbia, the Phillippines, and the Dominican Republic make out the other group.
