Portland Trail Blazers‘ Damian Lillard and Golden State Warriors‘ Draymond Green have committed to join Team USA in the 2021 Olympic Games according to a report by The Athletic.
This will be the first Olympic tournament for Lillard. The 31-year-old six-time All-Star guard will be making his debut with Team USA in a major international competition after being a finalist to make the roster in previous years.
Green, a three-time champion and DPOY in 2017, will be looking to win his second straight gold medal in the Olympics since he was also a member of the 2016 team that claimed first place in Rio.
Per the Athletic, the Team USA roster is expected to be set by late June and training camp will beginning on July 6 in Las Vegas.
