Domantas Sabonis and Jonas Valanciunas among the selections for Lithuania

Lithuania boss Darius Maskoliunas made the final cuts narrowing his roster to 12 players heading to the Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

Eimantas Bendzius, Arnas Butkevicius, Tomas Dimsa, Rokas Giedraitis, Marius Grigonis, Rokas Jokubaitis, Mantas Kalnietis, Mindaugas Kuzminskas. Lukas Lekavicius, Gytis Masiulis, Domantas Sabonis, and Jonas Valanciunas were named to the final squad.

Tadas Sedekerskis and Regimantas Miniotas were left out.

The hosts of the Kaunas OQT will face Venezuela on Tuesday and South Korea on Thursday aiming to advance to the semifinals of the six-team tournament. The other group consists of Angola, Poland, and Slovenia. The national team eventually ranking first will clinch an Olympic Games berth.
