Luka Doncic and the Slovenian NT were locked and loaded on Wednesday afternoon.

In his first official game with the selection, Luka helped Slovenia get the job done from the first half, in a blowout 118-68 victory over Angola at the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Kaunas, Lithuania. Slovenia has now advanced to the semifinals, waiting to find out its opponent and its final place in Group B.

Doncic produced 13 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds in just 17 minutes and found perfect connections with his teammates to produce plenty of highlights.

Zoran Dragic led Aleksander Sekulic’s selection with 16 points, while Vlatko Cancar had 13 points and Mike Tobey added 12 for the Slovenian selection.

Yannick Moreira posted 15 points, 6 rebounds for Angola and Pedro Bastos added 12, as the team bids goodbye to the qualifiers with its second loss.

Slovenia faces Poland on Thursday, for a chance to seal the top spot of Group B.

Later on Wednesday, Brazil handed hosts Croatia another blowout victory (94-67) to move on to the Split tournament semifinals. Coach Aleksandar Petrovic led the Brazilian selection to this big win against his own nation, as the spectators in Split saved a warm applause for the winners and the home team at the end of the game.

Serbia joins the semifinals of the tournament in Belgrade, after outlasting the Philipines with an 83-76 win in a  tight contest. Boban Marjanovic and Ognjen Dobric got the job done for the selection, just one night after a stunning victory after the Dominican Republic.
