Slovenia and Luka Doncic simply can’t be denied and Germany couldn’t do much against them.

Slovenia got the 94-70 win, improved to 17-0 in official games with Luka Doncic in their lineup and got a ticket to the semifinals in their first ever trip to the Olympics.

Doncic had 20 points, 11 assists and 8 rebounds, but Zoran Dragic led the charge with 27 points, 11-of-13 shooting, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.

Still this is Luka’s team as his teammate Mike Tobey once more explained: “Luka is just so talented. I’m just trying to move out of his way, and sometimes when he’s passing, his passes are actually leading me where I should be on the court. I missed a couple of them today because I was the one who wasn’t ready. I’m having fun, we believe in ourselves.”

Maodo Lo scored 11 points for Germany which trailed from the first quarter and couldn’t get into the game at any point. In theory the Germans were the weakest team of the quarterfinals, but the fact remains that Slovenia dominated.

To be exact, getting a 32-31 lead was the best that Germany could provide and by halftime they were trailing by seven (44-37).
