Canada Basketball has announced its final roster for the pre-Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Manila, Philippines.
“We are facing some of the top teams at the qualifier and have prepared by completing a rigorous preparation schedule in Europe,” said Steve Nash, general manager. “We have a tremendous opportunity to achieve an Olympic berth and our players and staff will be doing everything possible to achieve our goal of qualifying for Rio.”
Canada will have to get the ticket to Rio over France and Turkey and here’s the roster: Shai Alexander, Joel Anthony, Anthony Bennett, Khem Birch, Melvin Ejim, Tyler Ennis, Brady Heslip, Cory Joseph, Levon Kendall, Philip Scrubb, Thomas Scrubb, Tristan Thompson.
