In a tense game in which Puerto Rico led even by 30 points, but in the end let Angola come back before getting the easy 91-81 win, the real news are coming from the injury of J.J.Barea.

While Puerto Rico thanks to this win probably qualified to the semis with a 1-1 record, after losing to Serbia which has to play with Angola, the problem is that Barea was hurt in his right knee on the closing minutes of the game. Barea landed awkwardly after a shot and he left the court hobbling.

Before that he scored 18 points and had 7 assists. The other star guard of Puerto Rico, Carlos Arroyo, had also a great game with 18 points and 5 assists. Carlos Morais, as usual, was the best player of Angola and scored 21 points.

UPDATE: According to coach Eddie Cassiano Barea will be fit to play on Thursday in the semifinals of the tournament.
