Maccabi Tel Aviv enjoyed a comfortable 91-77 victory over visiting Maccabi Haifa in Round 16 of the Israeli League and continues undefeated on top of the standings.
In the wake of Omri Casspi undergoing surgery, Tyler Dorsey stepped up and led Giannis Sfairopoulos’ team with 18 points. Othello Hunter and Deni Avdjia also finished the game in double digits, with 16 points apiece.
The Tel Aviv side controlled the game from start to finish, staying up 52-37 at halftime and managed to keep a double-digit lead in the second half as well, as Haifa never threatened with a comeback.
