The Israeli NBA prospect in Deni Avdija put on another strong performance for Maccabi Tel Aviv with 24 points in a 100-69 win over Hapoel Holon.

The 19-year-old forward shot 8-14 from the field including 4-8 from deep while also adding seven rebounds, four assists, and one block for a total of 28 index rating.

He scored nine points in the first half and, together with Sandi Cohen who scored 12, sparked Maccabi‘s run in the second quarter which put them up 44-36 at halftime and was the beginning of the end for the opposing squad.

Cohen finished with 18 points as did Angelo Caloiaro while Scottie Wilbekin helped with 14 points and six assists.

For Holon, Jimmy Hall flirted with a double-double by logging 18 points and nine boards while Shavon Coleman and Desi Washington added 11 points each.

It should be noted that Maccabi played without Tyler Dorsey who has been quarantined due to being in close proximity to a COVID-19 positive. The same goes for Holon’s Hulk Uriel Trotsky.

Maccabi bested Holon in a convincing manner for the second time since the Israeli League restart and improved to a 23-3 record while the latter stands at 12-14.
