The Belgian League announced that the start of the 2020-21 campaign has been postponed from October 2 to November 7.

Per the EuroMillions Basketball League:

Following the travel restrictions on a European level that are still in place for travel from outside the EU for a large number of countries, including the United States, the heightened restrictive measures taken by the National Security Council and the local ban on contact sports in several regions, the start of the EuroMillions Basketball League season has been postponed from 2 October until the weekend of 7 November.

The competition formula and Belgian Cup formula are maintained.

Arthur Goethals, Pro Basketball League president: “The evolution of the pandemic and the consequent decisions taken on a European, national and local level, currently do not allow our clubs to properly prepare the season. We had developed a scenario allowing us to move to the beginning of November, which has now been activated.”
