One of the players from WKS Slask Wroclaw tested positive for COVID-19 and the whole team entered self-isolation while the same will be done by their recent scrimmage opponent PGE Spojnia Stargard.

Per Energa Basket Liga:

Due to the positive result of the COVID-19 test in one of the players of WKS Slask Wroclaw, the entire team was isolated, and the tests will be passed to other players and other club employees. The PGE Spojnia Stargard team will also undergo self-isolation – in recent days it has played sparring with the team from Wrocław.

The Polish Basketball League is in constant contact with representatives of WKS Slask and PGE Spojni and will react to the situation on an ongoing basis. Both teams are obliged to follow the recommendations of the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate. The upcoming friendly matches of these teams have been canceled.
