Former EuroLeague scoring king Taylor Rochestie is close to signing with Israeli club Hapoel Haifa according to Walla. The American veteran guard was previously reported to be in talks with Basketball Champions League team Hapoel Holon but there wasn’t any deal due to the player’s “high demands” says Walla.

Rochestie, a EuroLeague “Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Trophy” winner in 2015, last played with Crvena Zvezda. He averaged 3.9 points and 2.0 assists in 11:09 minutes over nine EuroLeague appearances while posting 6.0 points and 3.3 assists in 16.7 minutes over 11 ABA League games.

UPDATE: On Friday 18/12 the transfer was officially announced by Hapoel Haifa.
