Five players scored in double figures for Maccabi Tel Aviv in the 100 – 74 win over Be’er Sheva for Round 13 of the Israeli Winner League. The “Yellows” played Friday following the suspension of their EuroLeague game vs. Khimki Moscow due to coronavirus-related travel restrictions in Israel.
Othello Hunter led the charge for Macccabi with 16 points and five rebounds in 19 minutes while John Dibartolomeo and Oz Blayzer scored 15 points apiece. Tyler Dorsey added 12 points on 4-5 triples and Scottie Wilbekin had 11 points and six assists as their team improved to 9-2 and returned at the top spot in the standings.
For Be’er Sheva, that dropped to 6-7, Caleb Agada finished with 20 points plus five assists, Travis Waresch posted 18 points plus eight rebounds and Eric Griffin scored 18.
