Zalgiris Kaunas stood strong on the road to defeat Juventus 102-78 in the Lithuanian League and expand their winning streak to five games. Martin Schiller’s squad improved to a 17-2 record to stay in charge of the LKL standings for one more week.
Marius Grigonis paced Zalgiris with 18 points, Jokas Jokubaitis had 13 along with 6 assists and Paulius Jankunas tapped 12 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
Bryant Crawford led all scorers of the game with 18 points for Juventus that fell to a 16-7 record and in the third position of the standings.
