Zalgiris Kaunas defeated Siauliai 88 – 74 on the road to improve its LKL record to a league-best 18 – 2. Siauliai dropped to 6-17 and the bottom of the standings.
Steve Vasturia scored a team-high 15 points for Zalgiris while Karolis Lukosiunas had 12 points and Paulius Jankunas 11 points plus five rebounds. Thomas Walkup dished out nine assists to go with his eight points.
From Siauliai, Eimantas Stankevicius dropped 24 points and Arminas Burutis posted 17 points plus seven boards.
