Joffrey Lauvergne sat out the game against Siauliai but Marius Grigonis and the rest of his teammates stepped up for a convincing win in the Lithuanian League

Zalgiris had everything under control in the Lithuanian League game against Siauliai and logged a comfortable 96-60 home win.

With this win, Zalgiris improved to league-best 19-2 record while Siauliai stayed at the bottom of teh standings with 6-18.

Marius Grigonis led the charge with 17 points on just one miss from the field (5-6) while adding six rebounds and three assists. Martinas Geben followed with 15 and Marek Blazevic with 13 points (plus nine boards).

The team couldn’t count on Joffrey Lauvergne who suffered a bruised pelvis in the EuroLeague clash against Anadolu Efes and sat out this one as a precaution.

On the other side, Elvar Fridriksson scored 15 in addition to Kapsars Berzins and Eimantas Stankevicius’ 11 points each.
