Patricio Garino played his first game since October (meniscus surgery) as Zalgiris Kaunas beat Dzukija 86 – 80. The Kaunas side improved its record to 20 – 2 and remains the boss in the standings.
Garino spent 14:48 minutes on the floor in his return to action and scored three points with a 3-pointer. Paulius Jankunas (16 points, six rebounds) and Joffrey Lauvergne (16 points) led Zalgiris in scoring while Thomas Walkup finished with eight assists to go with his six points and five rebounds.
Dzukija fell to 8 – 16 with this loss. Paulius Danisevicius (15 points, five assists) and Simas Jasaitis (14 points) stood out for the guests.
