Undefeated Gonzaga and Joel Ayayi enter the NCAA Final Four

A convincing win, 85-66, over USC extended Gonzaga’s undefeated run and earned a spot in the 2021 NCAA Final Four. The Bulldogs are now 30-0. French guard Joel Ayayi recovered from an injury during the one-sided Elite 8 meeting and logged nine points, six rebounds, three assists, and one block.

UCLA starting from the First Four went all the way to the Final Four thanks to the 51-49 victory over Michigan. German Franz Wagner was held to 1/10 field goals and four points in the season-ending loss for the Wolverines setting up a semifinal clash between Gonzaga and UCLA.

Baylor defeated Arkansas, 81-72, moving on to the Final Four. Semifinal rival, Houston, topped Oregon State, 67-61, in the first Elite 8 matchup.

Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium after hosting the Regional Finals Monday and Tuesday, remains the venue of Saturday’s semifinals and Monday’s championship game.
