Following the loss to Rytas, Zalgiris secures win on the road against Dzukija

Red-hot Lukas Lekavicius produced a game-high 17 points guiding Zalgiris to the away win, 95-78, over Dzukija on Wednesday.

Lekavicius, 27, had 7/10 field goals, including three triples, in 22 minutes. Thomas Walkup finished with 13 points and Marius Grigonis logged 11 points. The remaining double-digit scorers, Rokas Jokubaitis and Augustin Rubit had ten points each in the Lithuanian league contest.

Bouncing back from the loss to rival Rytas, the team coached by Martin Schiller, upped its LKL-leading record to 22-3. Rytas follows at 22-6.

The hosts, forced down to 9-19, were highlighted by Vytenis Cizauskas registering a team-high 16 points.
