After a 10-day hiatus due to the ongoing conflict in Israel, the Winner League resumed with standings leader Maccabi Tel Aviv beating Gilboa Galil 67 – 65 in a game that took place in the city of Haifa.
Scottie Wilbekin led Maccabi with 23 points while Ante Zizic had 17 points. The “Yellows” improved to 22-5 despite the absences of guard Tyler Dorsey (he left Israeli for the U.S.A.) and center Othello Hunter.
Kerry Blackshear had 17 points plus seven rebounds for Gilboa that is tied with Hapoel Eilat for the third place. Jehyve Floyd added 11 points and seven boards as well.
