Zalgiris Kaunas beat Rytas Vilnius 84 – 73 in Game 3 of the Lithuanian League Finals to sweep the series and win the championship for 11th straight season and 34th time overall in the history of the club.
Thomas Walkup scored a team-high 20 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assists for Zalgiris. Marius Grigonis added 15 points plus six assists and Joffrey Lauvergne had 14 points.
Drew Goudelock had a team-high 20 points to pace Rytas Vilnius. Ivan Puba posted 22 points plus nine rebounds and Martynas Echodas scored 14.
