With six players scoring in double figures, Maccabi Tel Aviv crushed Bnei Herzliya 99 – 69 to improve its Israeli Winner League record to 3-1.
Keenan Evans has his best game with the Maccabi jersey, scoring a season-high 19 points on 7-9 from the field in just 19 minutes. Oz Blayzer dropped 18 points, Ante Zizic had 16 points and seven rebounds while Yiftav Zich and John Dibartolomeo had 11 points apiece. The latter also had five assists.
Jake Cohen contributed 10 points for Maccabi that dominated the game from start to near finish. After 30 minutes, the Yellows took a 78 – 44 and their opponents just managed to cut that margin a bit in the fourth quarter.
Chinanu Onuaku (19 points, six rebounds) was Herzliya’s top contributor. Sandy Cohen, who’s loaned to Herzeliya by Maccabi, scored 12 points.
