Ante Zizic scored 24 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in one of his best games with the Maccabi Tel Aviv jersey to push the team to an overtime win on the road over Galil Elion. The Yellows improved to 7-3 to remain second in the standings.
Apart from Zizic, who tied his overall scoring-best with Maccabi, Scottie Wilbekin added 16 points, Jake Cohen posted 13 points plus 11 rebounds while Scott Evans had 13 points.
James Nunnally also scored 13 points f while draining 3-3 free throws to tie the game at 73 with 26 seconds to play after Enion went up 72 – 68 with 1:33 remaining. Maccabi ultimately survived its hosts after trailing in the vast majority of regulation.
Chauvaugn Lewis led Enion with 22 points. Ike Iroegbu notched 19 points while Nimrod Levi finished with 17 points plus nine rebounds. Their team is now 10-6.
