Karolis Lukosiunas and Lukas Lekavicius saved Zalgiris from a tough challenge against Neptunas at the start of the Lithuanian League playoffs

Zalgiris almost let the game slip away from their grasp but still managed to stay on top for a 92-88 home win against Neptunas in Game 1 of the Lithuanian league playoffs.

Karolis Lukosiunas shot 7-10 from the three-point range and led the scorers of the winning side with 23 points while Lukas Lekavicius score ten points but five of those came in the crucial moments to keep Zalgiris ahead.

Tyler Cavanaugh and Edgaras Ulanovas added 14 each. They also grabbed seven and nine rebounds respectively. For Neptunas, Deividas Gailius scored 23 points while Zygimantas Janavičius had 12 points and 11 assists.

Meanwhile, Lietkabelis got a close 102-101 overtime win against Juventus, led by Gediminas Orelik who scored 21 points. Kaspars Berzins helped with 16 and Dovydas Giedraitis with 14 points.

Patrick Miller was on fire for the losing side with 25, as was Vytautas Sulskis with 24 points.
