Maccabi’s season came to an end as Bnei Herzliya won the semifinals series 2-1

Bnei Herzliya became the first team to seal a ticket to the Israeli Winner League finals after beating Maccabi Tel Aviv 96-74 on the road and winning the series 2-1.

Chinanu Onuaku posted a big double-double of 25 points and 15 rebounds to help his team get an early lead on the road, Maurice Kemp scored 16 points, Shawn Dawson added 14 and Andy Van Vliet followed with 13, as the club sealed its first-ever ticket to the domestic league finals.

Maccabi‘s season came to an end at home with this defeat. Scottie Wilbekin paced the hosts with 22 points and six assists, Keenan Evans followed with 14 points and Roman Sorkin had 11.

Bnei Herzliya will now await the winner of the  Hapoel Jerusalem – Hapoel Holon pair (series tied 1-1) which will determine their opponent for the upcoming finals.
