Six players scored in double figures from Maccabi Tel Aviv as the team crushed Be’er Sheva 91 – 58 on the road to register its seventh win over eight Israeli Winner League games this season.

Yiftach Ziv scored 19 points over 17 minutes to lead Maccabi. Josh Dibartolomeo added 12 points, Josh Nebo scored 12, Rafi Menco had 10 points plus five rebounds, Lorenzo Brown posted 10 points plus five assists while Jalen Adams dropped 10 points as well. The Yellows were in control for the entire game and turned the match into a blowout in the fourth quarter, which they dominated 12 – 32.

Ben Moore (14 points, 10 rebounds) and Greg Whittington (14 points, five rebounds) stood out from Be’er Sheva. Their team is now 3-5 and seventh in the standings.

This was a much-needed result and performance for Maccabi amid criticism over Oded Kattash’s coaching and rumors that he may be axed after an away loss to Bayern Munich in EuroLeague and wing Darrun Hilliard’s suspension. The Israeli powerhouse will next face Valencia Thursday (8/12) for Round 12 of the EuroLeague.
