Pushing late in the game to come back with a 25-7 run in the fourth quarter, Zalgiris Kaunas managed to beat Pieno Žvaigždės 78-68 with a great performance by Laurynas Birutis, who came off the bench for a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds.

The green-and-white side, which will begin the EuroLeague season on the road against Virtus Bologna on Thursday, had 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists from the newcomer Nazareth Mitrou-Long.
