After ending the EuroLeague season early, as Andrea Trinchieri’s team couldn’t qualify for the Play-In Showdown despite a great turnaround in the second part of the Regular Season, Zalgiris Kaunas made it to the LKL Semi-Finals.

On the road, the green-and-white powerhouse won Game 2 76-58, closing the series with M Basket–Delamode by winning 2-0. Laurynas Birutis was his team’s leading scorer with 15 points over 7/9 from two-point range, while Brady Manek went close to a double-double with 10 points and 8 assists.

The losing side was dragged by Martynas Gecevicius and Chauncey Billups with 12 points each, while Einaras Tubutis performed an all-around game with 9 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals. Alex Antetokounmpo, who joined the team mid-season, came off the bench for 6 points.
