Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv overcame a severe roster crisis on Friday to defeat Hapoel Netanel Holon with a result of 89-61 and complete a dominant three-game sweep in the Semifinals of the Winner League Playoffs 2026.

Playmaker Tamir Blatt was officially ruled out for the clash after a Thursday morning MRI confirmed a small tear in his calf muscle. Blatt’s diagnosis added to a rapidly growing injury list that already included T.J. Leaf, Gur Lavy, and Amit Ebo. The depth issues compounded further as Lonnie Walker IV continued to sit out, while David Efianayi and Marcio Santos were also rendered completely unavailable for selection. With seven key contributors sidelined, head coach Kattash was left with just ten available players on his game-day roster, including a couple of teenagers.
Maccabi had no problem, playing another great game. Already in the first quarter, the team from Tel Aviv took a lead of 20-11. Hapoel Holon held on for a while, but the third quarter was decisive. Maccabi won it 25-9 and calmly brought the game to an end.
Jaylen Hoard was once again the top scorer with 18 points, Jimmy Clark added 14 with eight assists, and Zach Hankins had the same scoring output. Roman Sorkin finished the match with 13. On the other side, Jordan Wright scored 14 points, and Adama Sanogo 12.
