Yago dos Santos is the new point guard for Flamengo, the Brazilian club announced on their social media.
The young player who spent two seasons playing for Flamengo has returned home after four seasons in Europe. Initially, Dos Santos played for Ratiopharm Ulm, from where he moved to Crvena Zvezda in the summer of 2023.
He was part of the Belgrade club for three seasons, left briefly, then returned to Zvezda, until 2026 when they parted ways – Virtus Bologna became Yago’s new club.
In the Crvena Zvezda jersey, he won the triple crown in 2024 and also claimed the Serbian Cup in 2025, while he had significant success with Ulm, becoming the German champion in 2023. Yago was then named MVP of the Bundesliga Finals.
However, the last season wasn’t great for the Brazilian, who has now returned to the club whose jersey he wore from 2020 to 2022. Before that, he played for Paulistano for four years.
