Project B has appointed Igor Kokoškov as its new Head of Player Development, with the experienced Serbian coach taking charge of the organization’s long-term talent strategy.
The appointment is part of Project B’s efforts to establish a player development pipeline alongside its professional competition, with a focus on identifying and developing young talent.
Kokoškov brings more than 30 years of coaching experience across European basketball, international competitions and the NBA. In 2018, he became the first NBA head coach born and raised outside North America when he took over the Phoenix Suns.
On the international stage, Kokoškov led Slovenia to the 2017 EuroBasket title and has also served on the Serbian national team’s coaching staff.
In European club basketball, he most recently coached Anadolu Efes and previously had a successful stint with Fenerbahce.
Project B has been expanding its basketball operations with an emphasis on player development, and Kokoškov’s appointment represents another step in that direction.
