While the Lithuanian Basketball Federation plans to disqualify Lietuvos Rytas from next season’s championship, the president of LKL, Remigijus Milasius, insisted that no such thing will happen.
“Today I spoke with Paulius Motiejunas, of Zalgiris Kaunas and Martynas Purlys of Lietuvos Rytas. These two clubs will never leave the LKL”, said Milasius to Basketnews.lt. “These are teams that they are worth to go to the games. Without them, there wont be a league, in addition to basketball in Lithuania”.
