Sarunas Jasikevicius’ Zalgiris Kaunas got its second, back-to-back, Lithuanian Cup trophy, after beating Lietkabelis 84-63 in the Zalgirio Arena!

It marks the 7th cup of the hosts overall, the other being in 1990, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012 and 2015.

Kevin Pangos and Brock Motum led their team with 14 points each, Leo Westermann scored 12, while Edgaras Ulanovas and Paulius Jankunas shared 10 points each as well.

Zalgiris stormed in the first quarter, leading 18-10, yet the visiting team reduced to one point at halftime. The hosts expanded to double digit leads in the second half and eventually to 20 points near the end.
