In one of his best games with the Maccabi Tel Aviv jersey, Victor Rudd didn’t only score 25 points and grab 5 6 rebounds but hit the game-winner with which his team beat Maccabi Rishon at home.
Charles Thomas (22 points, 5 rebounds), Maalik Wayns (18 p. 7 assists, 5 rebounds) were causing all sorts of problems for the “Yellows” throughout the game full of ups and downs for both teams.
With one second left and the score tied 80 – 80, Rudd made the basket and won the foul to put his squad ahead. He missed the free throw on purpose and his team improved its Israeli League record to 16 – 6, remaining at the top of the standings.
Rishon is tied with Ironi Nahariya, Gilboa Galil at the eighth place, having 10 victories and 12 defeats now.
