Lorenzo Williams made two crucial 3-pointers in the last 80 seconds of Game 2  including the go-ahead basket for the 79 – 76, as Lietkabelis beat Zalgiris Kaunas 86 – 83 to tie the series.

Williams had also scored for the 76 – 73 with 80 seconds left, taking over from Ben Magden (18 points) and Zygimantas Janavicius (13 points) who had led their team through a comeback from a 57 – 64 deficit in the end of the third quarter.

Paulius Jankunas, who had an enormous first half of 20 points out of 24 in total, and Edgaras Ulanovas (21 points, 7 rebounds) had granted Zalgiris a seemingly safe advantage until that point but the hosts had the final say in the match.

In the final seconds, the players of Lietkabelis were good enough from the free throw line to remain ahead and never allow Zalgiris to regain its lead.
