Amar’e Stoudemire was back for game 3 and Hapoel Jerusalem prevailed over Nahariya with 85-74 in a do-or-die game for the former. The latter are still in charge of the series with 2-1.
Hapoel’s Alessandro Gentile was not part of the 12-man squad today, since as of lately, there’s a lot of displeasure surrounding his name in the team, mostly from fans. This is a result of a reported rude gesture of the player towards the fans of the team. Not only that, but reports also mention that players of the team are also displeased with his presence in the team, as he has allegedly arrived only because of Italian coach Simone Pianigiani.
As for the game itself, Jerome Dyson led the winners with 18 points, Richard Howell had 16 and Curtis Jerells scored 14. Game 4 will be played on Monday.
