Crvena zvezda mts have finished the 2016/17 season with three major trophies! After winning the ABA League and the Serbian Cup, the red & white squad clinched the 2016/17 Serbian Championship crown by taking down FMP in the finals with a 3-0 sweep.
Zvezda had a powerful opening as they were up by 17-2 run in the 5th minute, with Ognjen Dobrić scoring 13 points in the first period. The Red & Whites continued to dominate the court and increaded their lead to 46-24 at halftime, then to 75-42 after the third quarter.
This marks Zvezda’s third straight Serbian championship and 18th overall.
