Zalgiris got the home win against Lietkabelis with 92 – 90 and improved its LKL league record to 8-1. Sarunas Jasikevicius’ team was in front the entire game.
Lietkabelis reduced the deficit in the last quarter (12-29) and had a possession to send the game to overtime, but they lost the ball.
Vasilije Micic paced the winners with 19 points while Kevin Pangos added 17 points. Antanas Kavaliauskas also had a positive impact off the bench with 19.
Now both teams are tied on top after guests first defeat of the season in the Lithuanian League.
