Sarunas Jasikevicius’ squad enjoyed a comfortable home win over Neptunas with 88-62. The winners improved to a 9-1 record in the LKL league.
The star: Antanas Kavaliauskas paced the winners with 15 points and three boards.
Turning point: The hosts managed to pull away with a 20-point lead at 32′, which didn’t leave much choice to Neptunas until the end of the game.
Zalgiris grabbed an 18-point lead at halftime, trailing their visitors 50-32. The Klaipeda side had a little outbreak in the third period (with a 12-5 partial score midway through it), yet it wasn’t enough to threaten the hosts. After 30 minutes, Zalgiris led 69-51.
