Despite Nevern Spahija resting Norris Cole and Alex Tyus two days after the EuroLeague win over Real Madrid, Maccabi Tel Aviv didn’t face many problems in tonight’s (11/11) game against Maccabi Ashdod on the road.
With five players scoring in double figures, the “Yellows” won 90 – 80 to extend their perfect winning streak in Israeli League to 6 – 0.
Jake Cohen scored 19 points and John DiBartolomeo 15 while Artsiom Parakhouski dropped 14 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Pierre Jackson notched 13 points plus seven assists and Michael Roll 10 points.
For Ashdod that is now 2-4 in the league, David Laury had 20 points and eight rebounds, Cameron Long 16 points and Nimrod Levi 14 in 16 minutes.
