Joe Alexander and Guy Pnini returned to Tel Aviv to end Maccabi‘s perfect record. Hapoel Holon got the road win 93 – 89 and improved to a 7-2 record while the Israeli powerhouse remains on top in the Winner League.
The first half ended with the guests leading 44 – 36. Three almost consecutive three-pointers put Holon with a fifteen-point advantage (53 – 38, 23′). Maccabi tried to react in the fourth and they cut the lead to single-digits (90 – 87, 40′). Finally, the guests managed to escape with the win.
Glenn Rice Jr. paced Hapoel Holon with 28 points while Tamir Blatt contributed with 14 points.
Pierre Jackson led the losing side with 18 points and Norris Cole added 11.
